Welcome to the Introduction Episode of the Chants of India by Sriram, a podcast by gaatha story. It is important for all of us to take a step back, slow down the pace of things, reflect and meditate. That is what this podcast aims to do. Through the Vedic chants, this podcast will introduce us to the meaning, significance, and the reason behind a particular chant.
Some of the narrations may be topical, while others might be specific to a festival or an occasion. Your host Sriram will take us through this journey through this series, while in this episode, you will hear from Amar Deshpande, the co-founder of gaatha story and the creator of this podcast. We thought it was the great way to start the new year, and at the same time celebrate our three year anniversary.
